Are towels provided?

Towels are provided however we ask that you don't bring these to the beach and recommend that you bring beach towels with you.

Can I bring a Dog?

Yes, The Waves accepts up to two well behaved dogs. Dogs are not allowed upstairs though or on furniture.

Can I smoke inside?

Please do not smoke at any time whilst in the house. There are smoke detectors in the house as well as a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the kitchen. We would also be grateful if you could not use candles.

Can I walk to the beach?

Crantock Beach is approximately 10 minutes walk from the property, with the house located in Crantock Village.

Do You Have a Cot?

We can provide a travel cot if you have children under 3 years that require a bed; please ensure that you bring your own mattress and sheets.

Is there WiFi?

The Waves has unlimited WIFI for our guests to use, however we cannot accept liability for disruptions to the service as it is always out of our control. We cannot guarantee the internet speed or that is compatible with equipment guests may use. We will endeavour to assist with any queries and try to rectify as quickly as possible.

Is there a BBQ?

Although there is an enclosed garden, we do not provide a BBQ for safety reasons.

Is there a TV?

The Waves has a large TV in the living room. The television is a Samsung Smart TV with fibre access allowing you to sign into your Netflix and Prime accounts as well as enjoying the Freeview channels. Please ensure you log out of your accounts before you leave. There are a range of books you are welcome to use and a selection of puzzles for those rainy days.

Is there heating?

The Waves is a new build house (built in 2021) and as such benefits from modern insulation, double glazing and heating system.

We have pre-set the heating in the house, but if you feel that it is too warm or cold please let us know and we will change this for you.
